  • Who is Kids Camp suitable for?

Any child that wants to experience a fun week of healthy activities. They don’t need to be sporting or have been to any camp like ours before.
  • What will the children need to bring?

Children will be outside as much as possible therefore it is vital that they bring warm clothing and a waterproof. The children will need to bring plenty of fluids and if the weather is hot, sun cream. For most children (who stay over lunch), they need to bring a packed lunch. They can also bring a small snack to eat during the break.
  • What won’t they need to bring?

Children won’t need to bring any equipment. We also advise that money or valuable items are not brought on to camp.
  • What happens at the start and the end of the day?

The children will register every morning before starting their warm-up. At the end of the day (or lunchtime) parents are required to sign their children out before they can be dismissed.
  • Will the children have a break?

The children will have a 15 minute break in the morning and afternoon, where they can drink, or eat any snacks they have brought. Children will be able to grab a drink at any point during the sessions if needed.
  • Are the coaches qualified and police checked?

Our Managers are qualified teachers or equivalent, possessing various sports coaching qualifications. Our play leaders working specifically with 4-6 year olds are qualified in childcare. All members of staff are police checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.
  • What happens in bad weather?

With particular sports and activities we will try and stay outside as much as possible but if the weather is poor our venues also have great indoor facilities enabling the programme to continue.
  • Can parents come and watch?

Parents are more than welcome anytime! Why not come and watch the big final event on Friday. It’s a fun-packed event involving everyone; even parents can join in and earn house points! The final event is followed by our end of week presentation
  • Can children attend more than one week?

Yes of course! In one week the children will develop their skills, make new friends and have a great time, so why end it there? Additional weeks enable children to build on their previous development further increasing their confidence. The programme encompasses an extensive range of innovative games and coaching exercises so there’s no chance of doing
    anything twice!

Children under 8 will be coached at a ratio of 1:8. Older children are coached at a ratio of approx 1:16.
  • How many places are available on the course?

We try and accommodate for as many children as possible however venue space may limit us, so try and book as early as possible
  • Can I book a specialist programme along with Kings Camps?

Whether it’s cricket or football, children can enjoy a full range of sports by combining Michael Vaughan Cricket or International Soccer Schools with King’s Camps. When booking both, children can have fun all day long, making even more friends and having a go at lots of sports.
